Mrs. Youmans is a native of Savannah, Georgia. She graduated cum laude, from the University of Georgia in 2001, with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. While attending the University of Georgia, Mrs. Youmans was inducted into the premedical honor society of Alpha Epsilon Delta.

In 2004, Mrs. Youmans received her Juris Doctor degree from the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University. While attending Mercer, she was a member of the Mercer Moot Court Board and served as Vice-chair of the Board: Chair of Competitions during the 2003-2004 academic term. As a member of the Board, she participated as a competitor and served as a coach. In 2004, Mrs. Youmans was invited to be a member of the Order of Barristers.

Mrs. Youmans is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Savannah Bar Association and the Georgia Defense Lawyer’s Association. She is admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Georgia.
